Meet Sedona
Hi! My name is Sedona Jones! I'm a Fat, Queer, Neurodivergent, Northern Ontario born Performer. I’m Currently Based In Brockville Ontario, as I am a recent Graduate of St. Lawrence College's Music Theatre Performance Program.
I am a bubbly, down to earth, and intentionally curious performer with a passion for learning! One of my special interests is psychology. I believe that having a background in why humans do the things they do, and the inner workings of people/character’s brains, impact my art and understanding greatly.

With my interest in psychology, along with performing, I have a huge passion for Directing. I am currently the Youth Ensemble Rehearsal Director for The Thousand Island Playhouse’ production of The Sound of Music along with Naomi Costain (Director), and recently had the opportunity to Assistant Direct Concord Floral under Mary Ellis. I hope to continue developing this skill and create art that uplifts underrepresented voices onstage and off. I also take a special interest in tactfully chosen exploration of storytelling through movement, inspired by the works of Frantic Assembly and Heather Braaten.

Since April of 2022 I have been Live-Mixing various Bands in the thousand island area, and am looking forward to continuing to grow my experience and skills in audio engineering with more venues and clients. I was recently Head of Audio for a new collaborated musical, The Midway Dive Directed by Kimmy D’Souza.
When I started at St. Lawrence College, I signed up to be a peer tutor, and discovered a love for teaching I didn’t realize I had. I absolutely adore figuring out how each of my student’s brains work and how they process information the best. I will explain content as best I can in different ways, so we can work collaboratively. I currently offer Voice Lessons (online and in person), Music Theory/sight-singing Tutoring, and Sheet Music Transcription services. Please contact me for more info.
When not performing, I have a multitude of fluctuating Hobbies and interests. One of my special interests is Psychology. Humans are so cool! I love learning about the inner workings of everyone's brain and how their different experiences affect them. I strive to constantly be learning about myself, and others. I also will occasionally stream, play video games and DnD, geek out with makeup, as well as create art, and weird earrings.
